Unlike most floor covering materials, wood is forgiving. Nowadays many companies produce solvent-bazed and water-bazed polish to protect wood floors against alcohol, detergent and several chemicals.
High quallity wood floor polish helps our home’s parquet floor to last longer. Solvent-bazed parquet polish is easy to use; contains polyurethane and has a high quality so doesn’t turn yellow. Once it is applied on the floor; it is like a film which is detergent, acid, alcohol and waterproof. Wood floor are suitable for Fitness Centers.
Maintanence
For a fresh and shiny look, the wood floor must be maintained regularly. This stops dust, bakterium or dirt to sink deeply into wood so those whom has allergy will not be effected. The wood is the easist cleaning metarial with new cleaning and caring productions. Of course it is important to obey manifacturar company rules. To renew stains and scratches on any wood floor, always scratch toward the middle or begin at the outer edge of the stain. It is best to clean the dust on wood floor by vacuuming and wiping by a cloth which is damped by a protector alloyed liquid. Do not use water or wipe with a wet cloth. To prevent the dust and dirt damage on the wood, should better to flatten a doormat to the house entrance. If your parquet’s polish contains polyurethane must not use wax, should stick protector glides under the furniture and chair legs. While moving furnitures it is useful to flatten a thick sheet or put chopped potatoes on the floor. When a gum sticked to the floor, first use an ice bag to freeze the gum and then move it. To remove a paint spot or wax, press a blothing paper on the floor with an iron. A cigarette burn can be moved by scraping. Afterwards should be cleaned, sanded and polished. To remove black spots and ink spots rob with a steel wool, wax the wood and after cleaning with a wood cleaner, shine the wood floor. If it does not work, drip some vinegar on the spot; wait for an hour, clean and shine the floor.
The best way of cleaning food, blight and milk spots is to dry with a damped fabric and polish if needed. Scrub the oil spot by a cotton pad and detergent or wipe with ammonia.
Sometimes after cleaning water spots, scratches and heel tracks; the floor should be polished and rubbed by a steel wool. There is only scratches? Then use a touch-up kit mate.
DON’Ts
-Don’t let the water drops to dry on your floor.
-Don’t flatten wet carpets or mats.
-Don’t use rubber or vinyl covered carpets.
-Don’t clean your parquets with chemicals that the parquet producer censure.
-Don’t slide the heavy furniture on the floor.
DOs
-Flatten a mat on the doorway to prevent the floor from the dust.
-Put soft plastic glides under the chair and furniture legs.
-Avoid walking with sport shoes and high heels on wood floor.
-Use tulle curtain or sunblind to protect the floor against the sunshine.
