Bamboo floors by far are the ugliest floors around especially if they finished on site. They look dull and washed out after a short period of time that they are in use. All this propaganda you read and hear about is a lot of hype from the environmentalists and the Chinese. Bamboo is not wood, it's grass. It's soft dent's easily. And I would bet that the carbon footprint to grow, harvest and cut it down and transport it to the U.S. is greater than good ole USA hardwoods.
